Wendy is currently dividing her teaching/training schedule between Flintridge Riding Club and Cottonwood Ranch in Los Alamos.  She has competed throughout the United States and Canada through the Advanced level in eventing.  Wendy currently trains with Don Sachey at his Raintree Ranch in Goleta, CA and has ridden with Capt. Mark Phillips, Christine Scarlett, Karen O’Connor, Mike Huber, Jack Le Goff, Jimmy Wofford, J. Michael Plumb, Gwen Stockebrand, Victor Hugo-Vidal and Anne Kursinski.

As an instructor/trainer, Wendy has been based at many fine facilities including Shadowfax, (home of the world’s smallest cross-country course) and Silk Purse Ranch, both in Las Vegas, NV; Goose Downs Farms, Galisteo, NM; Brusally Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ; Hobeau Farms (a Thoroughbred training and breeding farm where she also raced Quarter Horses), Ocala, FL; Brown Ledge Camp, Mallett’s Bay, VT and Pondeverda in Durham PQ, Canada.

Wendy’s students have qualified and competed in the North American Continental Young Rider’s Championships.  However, her motivation is the commitment from her students regardless of their competitive goals or level of riding ability. She maintains a clinic schedule throughout the Western United States.

Wendy has recently received her American Horse Show Association “r” license as an Eventing Judge and has had an AHSA “R” Technical Delegates’ License for over ten years.
She has been the organizer of the Las Vegas Horse Trials and the Silk Purse Ranch Horse Trials and been active on the organizing committees of the Goose Downs Farm Horse Trials, The Event at the Downs, Brusally Ranch Horse Trials, Coconino County Horse Trials, the Quebec Championships, and the Eastern Township Horse Trials.

Wendy was a founding director of Las Vegas Equestrian Events, Inc, the Injured Riders Fund, and the Eastern Township Children’s Horse Events. She is a past member of the Board of Governors of the United States Combined Training Association and the Southern Nevada Hunter/Jumper Association.
